In this part we will get into the nitty gritty of the Alien Bee B800, and the lighting receiver and transmitter. We will then calibrate are custom white balance using the 24″ photovision target. After that we will take some photos of Layla.

Oh gosh .. i LOVED the tutorial .. had All the answers to my questions.. my baby is due in a month and i have been trying to find out ways to photograph my baby on my own.. thanks once again for making it look so easy.. :d btw.. i dont have a softbox … is there ne thing else i can use??

As far as your question goes, a softlighter II is the best bang for the buck, and it weighs next to nothing and folds up like an umbrella!!
